Today I'm out visiting the Rocky Mountain House National Historic Site in central Alberta! It's a cool place steeped in the history of the Hudson's Bay Company. My girlfriend and I explore much of what the site has to offer while there. We start with a walk through the small exhibit in the main building. After grabbing a map of the area, we then venture to the blacksmith where a demonstration was happening. We see some buffalo grazing in a field, which was cool to see because they were close. We also go into a mock up of what one of the forts looked like back in the day which was a neat experience!
