Located beside Brooks, the Kinbrook Island Provincial Park is quite a unique place because it is mostly surrounded by Lake Newell. This park is very well kept, with everything looking well maintained. I was very impressed by the clean area and modern facilities. With the park being situated on Lake Newell, it would make for great camping. Fishing here in the fall would be a great getaway from the crowds for those living in Brooks.
On my way out I stop at the Kinbrook marsh, located on the edge on the park. There's a nice walking trail here, and lots of interpretive signs. The signs show what kinds of wildlife live in the area, and how it all works together.
