Icefields Parkway Banff National Park Camping Video

I head out to Banff National Park to camp for a night along the scenic Icefields Parkway by myself! I stay at site #38 at the Mosquito Creek Campground, which offered some privacy from the rest of the people camping there. On the first day I attempted the hike Hector Lake, only to find that the river crossing was too difficult. I headed downstream of the Bow River and still made it into a fun time. On the second day after packing up, I drove north along Highway 93 and stop at Bow Lake to admire the amazing reflections off the water. Also, I got views of the Bow Glacier and Bow Glacier Falls while there too. My last stop of the trip was at Peyto Lake. I did the short hike to the first viewpoint, which was swarming with people. Luckily, I remember reading somewhere about a second better spot to view the lake, and headed uphill until I found it!
