I do the Grassi Lakes Hike in Canmore, Kananaskis, with my friend Jesse! The hike is approximately 4 kilometers round trip with only a couple hundred meters of elevation gain. After a couple hundred meters the trail splits off into an easy section or a more difficult section. We opt to do the more difficult section on the way up so we can see the waterfalls and the great views of the Bow Valley and Canmore. Overall the hike is not a very hard one. Surprisingly, I actually found the "more difficult" trail to actually be easier. Although it did snow on this day it was still a great hike up to see the turquoise coloured lakes!
