Chester Lake Kananaskis Winter Hike Video

I hike to Chester Lake in Kananaskis in the winter! Our trail begins off the Smith Dorrian Highway in the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park near Spray Lake. The hike is more over 9 kilometers there and back with more than 400 meters of elevation gain. My friend Jesse joins me as we hike the trail on a mild winter day. I brought along ice grips on my boots to help grip the slippery sections but Jesse didn't. On our descent he basically slip down most of the trail to avoid potentially falling down! As we are leaving the Peter Lougheed Provincial Park, we see some lynxes!
