Great Bear Safety Tips for Mountain Travel

Today I talk about my encounter with a grizzly bear while at the backcountry campground of Elbow Lake in Kananaskis, and share bear safety tips. I also share some tips on what to do should you encounter a grizzly or black bear in the wild. Always remember to bring bear spray when heading into the backcountry. When I encountered a grizzly bear, it was a moment of panic and fear that overcame me.
